The North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance (NAGAAA) is pleased to formally announce that
the 2021 NAGAAA Cup will be held in Palm Springs, California on March 26 – 28, 2021. This is the first
time ever Palm Springs has hosted the 3-day event. Registration and Opening Ceremonies begin
on Friday, March 26 with tournament play starting on Saturday, March 27.

NAGAAA is one of the premier LGBTQIA+ sports organizations in the world with 46 member
associations and over 17,000 members in Canada and the United States. NAGAAA specializes in
slow pitch softball and while softball might not be in our name, it’s in our blood.

The NAGAAA Cup is an invitation-only tournament showcasing NAGAAA’s elite A and B Division
teams and players from across North America, with automatic bids to the 2021 Gay Softball World
Series in Columbus, OH on the line. The large amount of highly skilled players expected to
participate in this year’s tournament will make it one of the most-attended NAGAAAA Cups ever.

The NAGAAA Executive Board selected Palm Springs, which has the highest per capita LGBTQ+
population in the US, as the 2021 host city given its 350+ days of sunshine and overwhelming
support from the community, local businesses and City officials.

NAGAAA holds two featured events each year, the NAGAAA Cup and the much larger Gay Softball
World Series which features nearly 200 teams each year. The 2021 Gay Softball World Series will
be held in Columbus, Ohio from August 30-September 4, 2021. Winners of the 2021 NAGAAA Cup
in Palm Springs will receive an automatic entry to the Columbus GSWS.
