NAGAAA Past Commissioner, Chris Balton showing off his outgoing board jacket recognizing his service to NAGAAA with newly elected NAGAAA Commissioner, Jeff Card.

As many of you now know, NAGAAA has elected a new Commissioner, Jeff Card of Seattle.  This means that NAGAAA’s leader for the last 6 years is moving out of the Commissioner’s chair.  Chris Balton of Memphis, Tennessee decided not to seek reelection as NAGAAA Commissioner after presiding over a record period of growth and prosperity for NAGAAA.  Under Chris’ leadership, NAGAAA’s flagship event, the Gay Softball World Series approached 200 teams and 4 NAGAAA member associations joined the organization bolstering NAGAAA’s footprint in North America.  From all of us in NAGAAA, we wish you all the best moving forward as you start your work as NAGAAA Past Commissioner on our newly formed Emeritus Council.  Chris might be leaving the board, but his heart will never leave NAGAAA!
