It’s NAGAAA’s 40th Anniversary. Look for the 40 vignettes about our history, daily.

The Gay Softball World Series took a turn back to Texas, but this time to the state capitol, Austin. A week full of weather challenges resulted in an abbreviated tournament with champions still being crowned. The New York Cranky Yankees took home the Masters Division title. Kansas City registered its first champion in 17 years as the Cocktails won the C Division championship. Winners in other divisions included the Dallas Texas Force in the A Division, the Los Angeles Thunder in the B Division and the Phoenix Saints in the D Division. The LGBT community’s fight against discrimination and equal rights will never stop as new protections and measures took effect regarding so called “bathroom laws”, conversion therapy and hate crime protections.
