It’s NAGAAA’s 40th Anniversary. Look for the 40 vignettes about our history, daily.

Following years of discrimination and legal battles the LGBT community reached a major milestone. On June 26, 2015, the United States Supreme Court legalized same sex marriage throughout the United States. An announcement later in the year affirmed that transgendered persons would be able to serve openly in the United States military. Columbus, Ohio hosted its second Gay Softball World Series in six years. The capital city of the Buckeye State hosted the largest GSWS in history and put on a memorable week of events and softball competition. The Houston Force picked up its second A Division title in a three-year span. The hometown Columbus Grizzlies took the B Division title with the Austin Outlaws winning the C Division championship. Tampa Pitch Slapped and the San Diego Marine Layer rounded out winners in the D Division and Masters Division.
